PHONE COUNSELLING
Phone counselling or telephone therapy is the process of talking to a trained counsellor via telephone or any virtual medium to resolve emotional challenges arising out of beliefs, feelings and life problems. More and more people are finding that phone counselling is effective, convenient and cost effective. Phone counselling has just as much therapeutic value as face to face counselling. This method is becoming increasing popular because it offers privacy, and the convenience of talking to the counsellor at a time and place that is most suitable for you.
Silver Oak Health offers 24/7 phone counselling for corporate employees. The same psychologist is deployed throughout the employee’s counselling journey, ensuring continuity and effectiveness of counselling.

FACE TO FACE COUNSELLING
Some employees prefer to meet the counsellor face-to-face rather than using phone, chat, or Skype options. Face-to-face counselling, part of our mental health employee assistance program, occurs in a private and confidential setting where counsellors help clients explore difficulties, distress, dissatisfaction with life, or a loss of direction and purpose. During these meetings, counsellors are trained to observe non-verbal cues—such as facial expressions and body language—to gain a deeper understanding of what the client is communicating. We also offer counselling for couples and support for individuals with bipolar conditions.
